About us
Mark and I started this blog as a way to share our trip with family and friends. Those that know me, know I’m not a big social media person posting about myself, but so many of you seem genuinely interested in our adventure that I think this might be the best way to share. I’m making no promises about how often I post, how much content will be included, how professional (or lack there of) it will appear… mainly it will be a way for me to capture our experiences, allowing you to read along.

30+ Years of Camping
While we have many years of camping / RVing experience and feel pretty confident we can handle what may be thrown at us; we have never gone this far for this long! We also do not know the Alaskan camping landscape, though plenty of people have taken this journey and have written about it. We’ve heard all kinds of stories (the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful and breathtaking), read a ton of blogs and forums on the subject, listened to podcasts, read the ‘Bible’ of taking an Alaskan trip … The Mile Post, and feel we are at least starting out on the trip as prepared as possible. Stay tuned to find out how we do…
What we do
One of the most challenging aspects of this trip is going to be juggling our full-time working schedules while trying to drive and have time for sightseeing.
