Mile 0 on the AlCan Hwy, 1523 Miles to Fairbanks

We’ve driven roughly 3500 miles to get to Mile “0” on the Alaskan Highway! The true journey begins now! We’ve entered British Columbia province in Canada and are staying in Dawson Creek at the Northern Lights RV Park. The weather has been chilly with overcast and rain. We’ve now entered the Pacific time zone and days are longer. Morning sunrise is around 5:00 AM and sunset around 10:00 PM.

We’ve done a little sightseeing, stocked up on needed supplies, taken care of some personal grooming, cleaned the rig, did laundry, and had a group dinner.
